The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Solutions Consultant to support us in building out our Professional Services practice. In this pivotal role, you will provide hands-on expertise and leadership to our expanding DevOps & Cloud Engineering team. Your responsibilities will extend beyond collaborating with technical resources across Product and Operations teams, driving the organization towards shared objectives.

What You’ll Do
 
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals related to DevOps and cloud adoption.
  • Optimize team resource allocation to maximize efficiency and utilization while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Architect and propose scalable DevOps and cloud solutions that align with client objectives, leveraging tools such as AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the implementation process, including collaborating with sales to develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, approach, effort estimation, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to provide technical expertise during sales engagements, ensuring a clear understanding of the proposed solution's value proposition. 
  • Mentor team members, facilitate knowledge transfer of technical best practices, and stay current with relevant technologies and tools.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to empower their teams with the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain and evolve their DevOps and cloud environments.
  • Participate in responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other proposal documents.
  • Support Customer Success initiatives to drive adoption of the iTMethods Platform.
  • Assist in change management processes to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and practices.
  • Provide feedback to product and service development teams based on client interactions and market trends. 
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions for the iTMethods Platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our solutions.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by producing technical content, blog posts, and participating in iTMethods webinars.
  • Pursue and maintain industry certifications aligned with iTMethods' strategic goals and partnerships.

What You Bring
 
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud architecture, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years or experience managing a group of technical cloud and DevOps consultants.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Azure Solutions Architect, are a must-have for this role.
  • Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, and Azure), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
