Enterprise Account Executive - DevOps Platform

The Opportunity:

Our new Account Executive will report to our Head of Sales and Customer Success and be joining a results-oriented team where they will use their relationship-building skills to help maintain and continue to grow the business.  The primary focus of this role is attracting new potential customers and closing new business that contributes to meeting the growth goals for iTMethods. 

What you'll do:

  • Create and modify Customer presentation content  

  • Respond to Enterprise Proposal Requests / RFPs  

  • Engage with all relevant stakeholder groups (COE, Shared Service, Tool Owners, Cyber, Enterprise Architecture, Networking, etc.)  

  • Collaborate with Partner Field Reps on joint opportunities  

  • Educate and nurture the Channel  Partner Managers and Field Sales organization  to maintain and improve our leadership position with them  

  • Work with internal cross-functional iTMethods teams  

  • Obtain quotes, prepare order forms  

  • Keep Salesforce up to date  

  • Develop trusted relationships with Customers and Prospects  

  • Provide input and content to Marketing and Product Management   

  • Participate in Field Sales Events and Marketing Events (e.g. webinars)  

  • Develop, document and communicate processes, tech stack recommendations to allow the Sales organization to grow  

What you'll bring:

  • Hunter mindset with the tenacity needed to open doors and obtain in person and virtual, web-based appointments. 

  • Experience selling complex B2B technology solutions with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets 

  • An understanding of what the devops and cloud tools we focus on work 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills and an aptitude for developing relationships internally and externally.  

  • A curious mind and the confidence to ask probing questions. 

  • Self-motivation and persistence in uncovering and nurturing leads, managing day-to-day client requests and closing sales. 

  • Good organizational and time-management skills. You have good attention to detail and numbers. You also have the ability to manage your day-to-day business in CRM. 

  • Use of question-based or solution selling principles to understand and identify customer requirements. 

  • Ability to present complex products in a simple and compelling way to both technical, IT contacts and business leads.    

  • Past experience in development or cloud engineering is a plus 


  • As a key part of our sales team, your work will touch every part of our organization, working across departments as you collaborate with teams in sales, finance, marketing, engineering, and managed services. You will increase your industry knowledge of our technology partners who include Atlassian, GitHub, AWS, Cloudbees Jenkins, Sonatype, and more - learning how our services solve complex problems for our clients.
